Purchased a 2004 Suburban 3 years ago with roughly 41,000 miles on it. Now mileage is 67440 three years later. Went through a full coolant reservoir in 2 days. Brought it into Chevy dealership since the vehicle is still under the 4 year/40,000 mile extended warranty we purchased with the vehicle. The warranty company is Transcon. Don't know much about them. Anyways, 2 cracked heads and lifter damage later, Transcon is pulling the regular extended warranty company crap. Service advisor at Chevy called to say they were already giving him a hard time about the complaint, asking if the vehicle had over-heated, was abused, etc. Have changed the oil every 3,000-3,500 miles every time. Performed all maintenance on the vehicle, everything. They are sending an inspector out today to check on the vehicle. Will update when I find out more.......
