While driving and without any warning vehicle stalled. Technician indicated that fuel charcoal filter clogged the tank, causing gas to leak. Manufacturer stated fuel system failed because of poor maintenance.
When gasoline tank is filled (or near full) a strong gasoline odor is noticed at the rear of the vehicle. Odor is stronger on opposite side of filler cap/tube. Dealer was notified and found no problem, attributed it to possibly a loose gas cap.
There is a strong odor of gas fumes in vehicle. Dealer was notified about this problem and tightened gas cap. Consumer still smelling gas fumes. On May 28th, vehicle would not start. This was to due to a stripped battery cable. Battery and battery cable has been replaced by the dealership.
