Problems with windshield wipers, engine oil pan failure, faulty power windows and locks. Broken plastic parts on the seat belts, frozen emergency brake and glazed brake pads. Poor dealer servicing. ABS breaks went skidish 3 times and still no fix. Lost control.
Without warning, during driving in a rain storm @ 65 mph the wipers "stopped" in mid-stroke. It was difficult to see to safely slow down and stop. Within a few seconds they started wiping again. This continued every few minutes until we left the rain storm. I can not duplicate this when it is dry and not raining.
Coming to a stop & was applying the brakes. Ther ewas a lot of growling noise. Brake pedal got mushy. Took to dealer again & brake system was replaced for the 4th time. Also, windshield wipers failed to work properly in the rain. Would cut off & on on their own. An intermittent problem that was not corrected.
I had the failure and completed the repair at the dealership about 9 months before the vehicle was recalled for this problem. Since the recall was announced, I completed the steps I was told were needed to obtain reimbursement from the manufacturer, but they continue to stonewall me. At this point, the manufacturer says the dealer "needs to clear the system" for the repair, and the dealer says he cannot "clear the system" because it will not allow him to complete the entry. Neither of them seems to care whether I get reimbursed or not.
