This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that lacks power, will not shift and may indicate the PRNDL went blank during the condition. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0705. Technician will need to inspect the Park Neutral Position connector and switch for spread terminals, bent pins, missing or damaged weather seal or signs of moisture intrusion.
