Just realized I bought from a dealer on finance 2010 I returned to him with fan belt within a week of purchase. then another mechanic tried to tighten it fail. then took it somewhere else, fixed for two & a half years then guess what? fan belt slipping. took it back to same guy, he made excuses not to do it and failed to turn up!! went across the road to another garage. had new belts! not fixed. recommended adjuster! took it off could not fix and had to order new part pulley!! had to rebook. took it in fixed! so I thought... next day broke down. they had not put alternator belt back on so battery went flat!! so luckily was not far from garage Half a mile was just going to work!! made me a brew while they fixed it. took an hour, had to super boost my battery. then on my way I went... till a week later just got home and power steering went fluid pissing out till empty. I'm a wreck by then sooo cross, rang garage. good job they were not in that teatime as I would of let them have it. got up early in the morning and tried to drive my car to get a second opinion on my car as fee's racking up!! was it wear n tear or their fault !! within of mins of this mechanic checking under the pit problem found the mechanic who fitted the fan belt adjuster etc had incorrectly routed the power steering pipe causing this to rub against the fan belt causing fluid to go everywhere and split the pipe. what a mess!! I got this mechanic to ring the other to tell them what they had done and to fix it asap and it was their fault!! look at the photo's of the parts on my car. this has been misdiagnosed for years you can tell by the rust on them!! wow this has made me feel like parting with my car as I feel that it has become unreliable even now it is fixed!! as I need a good one for my job!!
