Was mowing and went to move my 2013 Sonic and would not turn over. All the lights work, just nothing when I tried to start it. Battery is hot. Will up date when fixed.
Update from Aug 7, 2017: OK took to Chevy shop. Shop says car was hit by Lightning.
I was about to go to work with my colleagues early in the morning when the car won't start at all. All the lights in the dashboard and the headlights will turn on. Key is stuck in the ignition. Tried jump starting but still it won't. Had to have it towed to the dealership and rented a car for the day until the problem will be fixed.
It pains me a lot since I had used the car for 3 months since I bought it. Two weeks ago, they had to change the AC sensor because there is no cool air coming out from the AC vent.
Twice I have been able to get into the car but it would not start. I had to be towed in as no one could start it and the battery was fine. I am a senior lady (76) and last night I was stuck again in not a great neighborhood. I was towed to a dealership and after having to spend the night at a friend's house, the next day the dealership called and said it started right up. This happened a couple months ago and again I was towed to another dealership and by the time 4 people previously trying to get it started, the man in the dealership got it to start right up. This can be very dangerous for anyone who has this problem. I feel they owe me two more new keys since the two I have only work when they want to and I am left with the aggravation. I feel the Chevrolet manufacturers owe this to all their car owners who have had the same problem. They should send them new keys that will work and not be charged for the keys.
I stopped at a red-light and the car just died, no dash-lights, no interior/exterior lights, the locks, nothing worked except the radio. Turned to the car to try and restart that did not work, I couldn't even get the key out of the ignition. I was just happy that I wasn't moving otherwise and accident most likely would have happened
