There is a known problem with these '07-'11 GM vehicles for have a bad cracked dash in which should be a safety issue as the cracks are occurring over the airbag and could cause death or injury if the plastic comes flying off in a crash.
Toyota has this same issue maybe they are getting the dashes may at the same place. GM needs to step up and accept responsibility for the thousands of complaints for this issue you can read numerous complaints below in which there is a class action lawsuit over these dashes now.
