The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that the radio failed to work intermittently which prevented the gauges to illuminate on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the radio needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 37,000 and the current mileage was 39,000. Updated 08/27/14 the consumer stated the seat belt and the door chime does not operate. Updated 09/17/2014
