Recall # 05 V 043 000/bos/hydro booster/hydraulic brake: Consumer is reporting that while driving at highway speeds the brake booster pressure accumulator blew off the vehicle. Consumer was able to bring the vehicle to a stop. Vehicle was taken to a repair shop. The mechanic confirmed that the brake accumulator needed to be replaced.
While driving 55 mph and attempting to stop the brake pedal went to the floor and the brake service light came on. Please provide additional information.
Intermittent brake malfunction. When the pedal was applied it slow went to the floor which result in little to no brakes. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several but htey have not been able to duplicate the problem.
Vehicle was having a difficult time slowing down when the brakes were applied, especially when towing items. Dealer was notified by consumer, but refused to repair vehicle.
When attempting to apply the brake from a low speed the pedal intermittently proceeded to the floor. Please provide additional information. Problem could not be found by dealership.
On two separate occasions power steering malfunctioned, and brakes failed. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. Mechanic determined that the hydraulic brakes needed to be replaced.
