When applying brakes at a certain point a noise occurred and braking capacity lessened which could result in a collision, cause unknown.

While normally stopping Silverado truck, the brake foot pad kicks back against drivers foot and unable to bring truck to a stop. This last about 2 to 4 seconds and brake pedal goes to the floor and stops the truck. Sometimes the ABS & parking brake indicators become constantly lit. Tipton motors in hollister have replaced at least (1) front rotter and the truck is back into dealer today 10/25/1999. I have also opened a case with Chevrolet, file # 990554386 and I may persue the California lemon law. This is a serious safety issue and I am very concerned because this is my wife's primary means of transportation and this is the (3rd) time into the dealer for repair. It is very stressful not being able to stop normally. I am requesting the government to investigate, this is a bad safety issue. Dealer replaced ebcm and brake pressure modulator. At next incident dealer replaced brake master cylinder. Now brake pedal slowly goes to floor after stopped in drive position.
