Fuel throttle linkage sticks when pressing down on accelerator pedal causing the truck to lunge forward when gas pedal releases. Must press hard on gas pedal to get it truck to go forward. This happens most of all of the times I start the truck and quite often as I am driving and let up on the gas to slow down. Most often it sticks when I acelerate again even when driving.
Gas pedal is hard when pressing down on it. All of a sudden gas pedal will release and and vehcile will jump forward. Consumer states that dealer has been contacted.
In order to get vehicle to move driver has to press really hard on gas pedal, then car will take off. Dealer said it was caused by carbon build up in throttle body.
While parked with the ignition off, vehicle suddenly accelerated in reverse, causing a minor collision which resulted in minor injuries. Dealer and manufacturer have been notified.
