Let me start by saying I am a hardcore Chevy person. Having said that, the new wipers (on the 2015 heavier trucks and assuming the 2014 1500's) are horrible! They are fine for rain and warm weather but if you live in upstate NY and use the truck for plowing you'll be really disappointed. They sit below the windshield and see no heat from the defroster. Unless you leave them on they will also freeze down (will not come up if turned on). If they do come up, you will have to stop and bang them to get rid of some of the ice and even then you will not have a clear line of vision. A friend has a 2015 3500HD and has the exact same complaint. The engineer who came up with this design obviously didn't take cold and snow into consideration on this design. Biggest disappointment I have on a vehicle that was primarily bought for snow plowing.
