Power steering fails intermittently at slow speed right turns. An accident waiting to happen, not knowing when the power steering will suddenly fail and I’m unable to turn out of the way of oncoming traffic. How can Chevrolet just decide not to fix this safety issue because they don’t have a solution? I guess people need to die to get their attention. After 3 new Chevy trucks and several used ones, I’m done. I am leaving this baby at the dealership until it’s fixed.

at low speeds lockup, stops working many times

started complaining when truck was new! Steering would lock up trying to park and I was told by Langdale Chev that GM new there was a problem but did not know how to fix. Although I complained many , many times they never wrote a complaint. When truck got 41,000 =/- miles and started going into manual steering with no warning and I almost ran over guy on a bike and hit a lady in the car door. Then and only then did The dealer tell me to bring it in and they will get with GM and fix it. But now I was told it is out of warranty and $1480.00 at my expense.. That was in late August of 2017. Going to small claims court this Monday.. Two weeks ago the new steering stopped working twice in one week. Did not turn wheel although the steering wheel was turning. Carried it to a different dealer and they said after over an hour with GM tech they decided the oil in the new steering gear was not working the hydraulics and to speed the engine up a little if it did it again.. I have to speed the engine up on a truck that had a $61,000.00 sticker price!!! Really,,, give me a break. GM should give me a new truck with all the problems I have had!
