Vibrations started around 65 mph. Thought it could be tires because I still had the factory tires on the truck. I had another 10,000 miles of safe ware yet but purchased new tires. the vibration did not go away. Carried it back to Goodyear store and they rebalanced and said it was not the tires. So I carried it to the locale GM dealership. After 7 days they decided it was a bent driveshaft. I disagreed. I have built many driveshaft's, so I got the old shaft and brought it to my steel fabrication shop and put it in my lath and chucked it in and surly it was well in specs of being straight. The dealer mean while got GM to send a new shaft. Now, it starts vibration around 53 MPH.. We found metal in the transfer case and changed the oil at my expense. Was advised to return in 800 mile to change the transfer case again. So I did and now more floating metal and other trash. Another $200.00 and no fix. In have been told they are trying to get GM to replace. I am expecting the parts to explode . If I could I would trade for a Dodge. I have been told they are better and simpler to work on. GM is waiting for it to get more miles and age just to get out of fixing it. Over a $61,000.00 sticker price and I have had many , many problems with bad oil seals, DEF fluid tank, heater, gage. It has been in shop over 20 times in two years. Such a shame!!!
