The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. While driving approximately 25 mph, a loud explosion suddenly occurred and the passenger side exterior mirror dislodged from the mirror assembly. In turn, the mirror assembly detached from the vehicle. The failure occurred without warning or an impact occurring. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 35,000.
