Power steering lines rust through and spray down motor compartment. GM also has a known issue with the throttle body switches not functioning correctly causing serious loss of power immediately and has a service bulletin, but only honored if less than 120K miles and that put my truck out.
I went to park the truck the steering was hard and the engine almost died. I took the truck to montgomery. Chevorlet, louisville ky. 40213. They said that the throttle body needed cleaning. I paid $220.77 to have it cleaned. It didn't help. The steering is the same as before. Im still driving it. Jan.2, 2015.
The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving approximately 35 mph, the traction control warning indicator illuminated. At low RPM's as in parking the power steering fails to work. The dealer pressure tested it an found nothing wrong, but the problem is always there when you actually drive it.
