Transmission makes a ratcheting noise when it downshifts into passing gear. Loud enough to get your attention. so far functionality is still good but we'll see for how long. I have the 6.0 with the 6 speed auto. I also use this truck to take family vacations and haul a travel trailer, atvs ,etc. tsbs say a cracked flex plate. I inspected mine a no signs of cracks or loose bolts. I'm thinking it may be a shift selinoid . Fluid levels are good also.
A friend bought a 2014 Silverado 1500. And blew the torque converter around 1,000 miles. Covered by warranty obviously , but it show Chevy still being greedy cheap assholes, even after taxpayer money bailed the big three out of bankruptcy Thanks Chevy
