For the past year 1/2 the service stabilitrak / service traction control lights have been coming on followed by hard shifts and now I'm scared to drive it for my own safety and others on the roads ! I've spent over $2000 on trying to fix this problem with no prevail !! very aggravated by this problem and nobody including the dealership can tell me why it's doing this ! I really need help on this problem cause I have 2 small children that I'm scared for them to ride in the truck ! help me and the millions of others I've seen with this very same problem and Chevrolet has issued no ! recalls on this !!? now the problem seems to be getting worse cause before the lights would come on randomly and stay on a few minutes and everything would go back to normal, but now they stay on all the time and the hard shifting from 1 and 2 follow always ! unreal !

I am filing a complaint due to a safety concern about my passenger airbag on my Chevy. There is a crack on my dash where the airbag is stored creating a safety concern in case of an accident. The pressure from the airbag can make my dash a projectile killing passengers in the car. I have attempted to discuss this with GM/Chevy but they don't want to recognize their faults. This is an issue that many Chevy/GM customers are having. I have pictures of dashes with the cracks in the same place each time. Unfortunately many of these customers have attempted to discuss this concern with GM only to be turned away.
The dash around the airbag is cracked. This is very common on 2007-2013 GM vehicles. It is clearly a manufacturers defect, considering nine times out of ten they are broken. The dash is cracked to the point where if the airbag went off, I would not feel safe, in fear of shrapnel coming from the dash being in front of the inflating air bags. Local dealer offered no fix, aside from an over $1,000 out of pocket repair. This is unacceptable.

Vehicle was involved in head on collision that totaled it. Other vehicle was an older model van, do not know extent of damages to it. My concern is the air bags did not deploy was told by GM that crash did not meet criteria for deployment!!!!! a head on collision at 50 mph that totaled 2500 series Chevy truck. Hard for me to believe I now own a 2008 Chevy 1500 series, do I need to concerned?
On impact to front end of my vehicle the air bags did not deploy. The air bags on the other vehicle did deploy. How can I be sure my airbags are functioning properly. There is about $9,000 damage to my vehicle. I am sendingagain because I am not certain the first one went through.
