You ask, why did it take so long for me to report this? Well, it's a long story; however, the fact remains that other than this paint significantly chipping away my truck is in really good shape. I hope the local dealership can help with absorbing a percentage of the cost because a reliable source told me about GM was having paint issues during the time frame of my truck's "birth". We will see.
I called the GM Customer Service Dept and a rep stated during our conversation "well if you would've been honest with us in the beginning of this call". My next words were "get me your supervisor, because calling you was the dealership's idea, not mine". That statement was uncalled for, and came out of left-field. Supervisor came on the line-told her my side. Let her know I wasn't happy with the conversation with him. She said she would assign my issue to another rep and we would go from there. Thanked her for her time, appreciate anything she can do if not then it's my dime and my time.
