First my gas gauge stop working and the oil pressure gauge maxed out to the limit and stuck there. Then a few thousand miles later the tachometer maxed out and the speedometer stopped working, Of course this all happened about 5000 miles after the warranty expired. The dealer wants $800.00 to repair the instrument cluster. I have heard that this is a common problem with 2004 and 2005 models and yet GM did not recall these models. I am losing faith in the GM brand. (My next truck will probable be a Toyota). And this is coming from a person who sold his 1966 Chevy truck with all the gauges working for a down payment for this truck.
