2003 Silverado's 2500HD have a defective blower motor switch, the resisters get so hot they melt the factory wire harness but do no blow the fuse. May start a fire ! ! ! Happened in 2013 and again in 2014. GM has known about this problem for years but does not care if your truck burns up.
