The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado ss. The hitch receiver started to bend. The dealer was contacted and he was referred to a factory representative. The receiver hitch was replaced with a bigger and heavier hitch. There was an investigation for this failure, but he vehicle was not included. The repair was performed at the owners expense. The failure mileage was 15000. The current mileage was 30000.
Vehicle brake control electrical wiring, that controls the trailer failed. It engaged by itself and overheated. The dealership replaced the part. Cause unknown.
