This is not the first time this has happened. It seems to happen every year and a half since I owned this vehicle, January 2008.
At first I just bought a new battery, April 2008. The next time I bought a new battery, October 2010, and had an engine test at Advanced Auto to see what was causing the battery to go dead. I just replaced the battery last month, February 2012. I had been jump starting it when it would sit for more than two days and would not start. I took it to the Chevy garage and they unplugged the engine compartment light, go figure. They could not find anything wrong when they did the computer engine check. So far it has not stranded me. I would like to know what is causing the battery to drain to the point that it needs to be replaced so often.
