Engine knocked very badly at cold or hot start ups, it sounded like a diesel engine. Knocking lasted for 3 to 4 minutes. Dealer stated there was nothing wrong with the engine. 2000 Chevrolet Silverado experiencing problems with engine knocking during start ups. Engine knocking last for 3 to 30 seconds. Consumer took vehicle to dealer and no problem was found with the engine.
