Date of purchase: 10/14/1998. Check engine light appeared first day of pick up. Kightlinger motors put new part on the next week. December 28, 1998: Took to dealer stating something wrong with front diff. Said nothing wrong. 1/17/99: Front differential snapped, gear box broke. Would not warranty! paid 3700 to fix. Next week, knocking noise. Took in said nothing wrong. Took to different dealer. One bolt holding gear box, front diff. In. 6/21/99 brakes metal to metal. Took to kight. Said stone caught. Took to different dealer, replaced brakes and rotors. Front end needs replacing 7/3/99: No brakes-fluid leaks.( dot number: 0000 tire size: 265R7516 )
The vehicle vibrates at and after 65 mph, the steering wheel shimmies and shakes. Have taken to dealer on two seperate dates for repair. Was told cause unknown. Tires have been rotated and balances 4 time in 6 months. Tire dealer blames wheels or other mechanical problems. Brake pedal will go to floorboard with slight pressure. Have not had to make panic stop. Vehicle vibrates under slight pull at low speeds as if pulling heavy load.
Ongoing / intermittent problem of brakes feeling like they crunched whenever brake pedal was applied. This condition prevented the vehicle from stoppin vehicle has been inspected, and consume rwas informed that nothing could be found. Could NHTSA provide addtional information or help in this matter.
On-going / intermittent problem with brake pedal would get hard, whenever brake pedal are applyed; causes the vehicle not to stop properly. Dealer notified and informed that they are awear of this problem and nothing could be done at this time. Can NHTSA help in this matter or provide addtional infomation concerning this problem.

Ongoing intermittent problem with brake pedal locking up, and causing vehicle not to stop. Consumer have to step on brake pedal several times to get the pedal to relief itself. Vehicle been inspected by dealer shop, but nothing could be found.
Since the day of delivery consumer noticed a lot of pulsation in the brakes. Also, a lug: Nut of the front left wheel was cross threaded, and the screw broken. Dealership has not repaired vehicle because part is not available. Martin cehvrolet----330-373-1600.
1st: Turning on a sharp bend at ten miles an hour, brakes were applied (lightly) and vehicle began to fishtail. 2nd: Vehicle was traveling at approximately 45 mph on a short bend in the road when brakes were applied (lightly) vehicle began to fishtail, steering wheel began to vibrate and car spun out of control. 3rd: First day after accident, brakes jammed and responded extremely slow.
Consumer took vehicle to dealership four times for shaking in the steering wheel and column area, also when applying the brakes the pedal goes to the floor. Dealer indicates this is a design flaw, no remedy.
