I am having loud lifter noises with this 5.3 engine along with oil consumption issues. I wish they would stand behind their product or stop selling vehicles. I want them to fix all of these problems or compensate people for them.

Silverado 1500 Hybrid 5.4L

I bought this truck used in Feb 2015. Shortly after, I noticed the lifter noise. I don' know if it is a problem or not, but in the old days I would have done a valve job and adjusted the lifters. I hope it is characteristic and just the way it is and not a problem down the road?
