Been 2 months since GM issued notice for takeda passenger air bag recall. Still not availability of parts to correct this defect. This is unacceptable.

II was notified of this recall last year and the local dealer has not contacted me about fixing the recall and this is the second notice from NHTSA about the recall but the Chevrolet dealership has not notified me or repaired my vehicle and it has been over a year from the first notice and nothing has been done to fix the problem!

Was driving down 95 by howland Maine when my airbag light came on, I pulled over shut truck off and restarted it still didn't go away, so I decided to just drive it right to garage we're I founded out it could be a few things, so I got 2 brand new airbag sensors but after we put them in, it still didn't go off. But I seen we're your company put this airbag recall out. I was wondering if that could be why? I got paperwork we're we put sensors in.
I have called the local dealer classic Chevy for 4 years now about the recall on the airbag that could cause injury or death and all they will say is they can';T get the part to fix this. Is this correct and if so whay is this not fixed yet?
