Traction control system activates for no apparent reason on dry pavement. Activation typically occurs after complete vehicle stop. Acceleration during slow speeds or after a stop is impacted.
The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The traction control system activates without warrant. When the failure occurs the vehicle will not accelerate. I have been experiencing unintended ABS activation at low speeds (below 7 mph). This may result in a low speed collision causing property damage and bodily injury due to the vehicle not stopping in the manor in which it is designed.
