The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while her son was sitting in the driver-??s side rear passenger seat, the seat belt fractured. The contact stated that she then sat her son in the middle rear passenger-??s side seat and the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the driver-??s rear and middle rear passenger seat belts and seat belt buckles needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V811000 (Seat Belts). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 33,000.
Every so ofter I get an audible and visual alert telling me to Service Seat Safety Restraint System as well as the airbag light on the dashboard. This lastest incident is probably the 8th time it has happened since Ive brought the truck new
The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the front driver's side and front passenger's side seat belts failed and would not properly secure the occupants. In addition, the rear driver's side seat belt was also faulty and the middle seat belt strap had twisted and became embedded between the seats. The cause of the failures were not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 500.
