The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the shift-to-park message was displayed and the alarm was chiming. In addition, the battery died. The driver applied the emergency brake but was concerned about the vehicle moving. The driver was unable to tell if the vehicle was in the parking position. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering column needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts not being available. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 73,000.
The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact noticed the transmission had a delay when changing gears from reverse into drive. In addition, when the vehicle was placed in reversed, it lurched forward roughly and felt as if it would stall. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The contact emailed reliance Chevrolet Buick GMC (5020 7th St, bay city, tx 77414, (904) 701-0493), informing them that the vehicle started with a delay from first to second gear, difficulty shifting from first to second gear, and a delay in moving forward when shifting gears. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 6,000.
