The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to make a left turn, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to be restarted and taken to a dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the ground wire, positive wire, and electrical connection box had low resistance causing the battery to drain and lose voltage. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The contact jumped the battery and was able to restart the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that while reversing, the brake pedal was depressed but went all the way to the floorboard and hesitated to respond. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred three times. The contact stated that the third time the failure occurred, he jumpstarted the vehicle, and the vehicle restarted; however, the engine seized. The contact stated that the trailer brake warning light and several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact turned off the vehicle and restarted the vehicle and was able to drive the vehicle at slow speeds. The contact charged the battery overnight and was able to start and drive the vehicle the next day. The contact also stated that the Parking brake was electronic and made it impossible to stop the vehicle in the event the battery failed. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 35,800.
