My new 2019 Silverado High Country Wi Fi will not allow my iPhone/iPad to back up to the iCloud! The Wi Fi on my 2018 Silverado LTZ would back up my iPhone/iPad with no problems. When I try to do a back up my iPhone and iPad display "Unable to backup due to poor network conditions". This is BS! The carrier is AT&T which says "Unlimited Wi Fi" Chevrolet has replaced the "black box" no luck, AT&T passes the buck to Apple, but AT&T controls the download and upload speeds. Chevrolet has given me the "deer in the headlights look".
To date no one seems to care about this issue! Nice warranty support. I have tried everything humanly possible to get this problem fixed. I guess I could go to a TV station and speak with their trouble shooter I'm sure that Chevrolet and AT&T would love that kind of exposure. I am pondering this move. Bottom line I can't recommend buying Chevrolet/GM vehicles, I would be happy to get my old truck. In case you want to know, I traded my 2018 Silverado in for the 2019 due to the new styling and the larger engine (6.2L).
