This issue has occurred many times after vehicle was purchased in April 2019. This problem happens in the morning when there is high humidity. (The only way to solve this problem is turn on defrost and set at 73 degrees). If AC settings is in floor mode, fogging occurs. I have returned to dealership twice, showing photos of fogging problem. First time dealership replaced dashboard because is wasn't it installed properly during assembly. (Large gap between windshield and dash). Second time was last week 09/10/2019. Dealership went through several troubleshooting methods, including aligning similar model side by side in morning and operating air conditioners. I was told the other vehicle performed the same issue.
Service advisor advised me the only way to prevent this issue, was to operate in AUTO mode and shut off dash vents. Well, I tried this method this morning and still same results. I believe there is a design flaw or additional repairs are needed and dealer does not know correct this. I ask other 2019 Chevy Silverado owners to set their AC to floor mode (in the morning) and see if this occurs. I would like to know if there is a problem with my truck or its a vehicle wide issue. Thanks!
