April 2022 & 5 2022 Complete transmission failure in traffic ALMOST causing death in traffic, emissions failure, leather seat defect REPEATED left fog light failure
The drivers seat moves while turning. It feels like the seat is sliding when turning then there is a "catch" and a sudden stop in movement. While driving and making a turn the feeling the seat will come unbolted from the floor is a unnerving feeling to say the least
The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the rear seat headrests did not stay in place when adjusted to accommodate the height of the rear passengers riding in the rear seats. The vehicle was taken to quirk Chevrolet of portland (1000 brighton ave, portland, me 04102) where it was diagnosed that the locking mechanism did not lock in place and was designed that way. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50.
