AC stopped working sometime over the winter. Once it got hot, I realized it was not working so i took it to the dealer. They told me this is a common problem but GM wouldn't fix it because it's not a life threatening problem. It's going to cost $1600 to have the dealer do it, or I have to do the work myself. With the new freon they are running in new vehicles none of my local shops can fix it, so it's a dealer fix. After I got my truck back, I popped the hood and it doesn't even look like anyone touched anything, no dust was missing or moved around. I have no idea how they could possibly identify a condenser leak without moving the plastic shroud over the radiator.
