CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 has an early trend of the transmission shifting hard, surging & jerking.
At the moment these trucks are still under warranty. However this transmission problem shows up right away with the average reported mileage only around 3,000 miles, so for now the 2017 Silverado earns our "Beware of the Clunker" badge.

The mylink radio system in my 2017 Silverado has developed a mind of its own. It doesn't matter if the truck is sitting still or moving. It starts scrolling all the screens and on my little screen above my steering wheel goes to audio function disabling my speed readout. Also the clock keeps coming up on the dash screen without a touch it has also changed to radio scan screen. It is like the system has a ghost in it. It is very distracting while driving as the screen keeps changing. My truck has under 50K miles on it. I purchased the truck January of 18.
I have researched on the internet and found this problem happens quite frequently with the mylink radio system in other Chevy products. I also had an issue with the power just shutting of in the dash killing the engine which almost caused an accident for my wife because all power assist goes out, that happen 6 or 7 times that has stopped for now but could return at anytime. The screen changing on its own is very annoying but at lest it has stopped lately.
