I took it into my local dealership Team Chevrolet of Goldsboro. They confirmed I had a brake issue. They said it was my brake booster and that the vaccum pump minimum was 27. Something about I had 29 psi. Since it wasn't the vacuum even though I have a brake issue it doesn't fall under the 6 year 72000 mile warranty (which I'm within) that Chevy offered. The cost was $544. But I have extended warranty through Ethos which will cover it. I just have to pay the deductible, which is outrageous. I almost hit a car at a light . I'm not worried about that $50 more than I am my safety and the safety of others. No one should have to pay out of pocket for this issue. I was a diehard Chevy fan but if this is how you plan to treat the people, I will be looking elsewhere me and my family. People could really get hurt and you haven't accepted any accountability. I've read more than once the issue with the booster causing this issue. Who's to say your technicians got it right assuming it's the vacuum pump. I am so disappointed in how you handled this manner. As a customer I feel you could care less about me.
