The contact stated while her husband was driving approximately 25 MPH, the "Service Power Steering-??, -??Service Stabili-trak" and "Service Four Wheel Drive" were displayed. The contact's husband was able to veer to the side of the roadway. The contact stated that her husband turned off and restarted the vehicle, and the vehicle responded as needed. The contact's husband was able to continue driving. The contact stated that the failure had been occurring increasingly and was persistent after restarting the vehicle. An alarm sounded. The contact stated that while driving from a complete stop, the vehicle hesitated to respond, and then jolted suddenly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the failure could be related to NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 18V586000 (Steering) and 19V761000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic, Service Brakes, Electronic Stability Control); however, additional diagnostics tests were being performed. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that they could provide monetary assistance for the purchase of another vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
