2015 Silverado 1500 - 20,000 miles and the A/C Compressor has to be replaced. I've driven Chevy Trucks for 40 years - never had an A/C compressor go out with less than 80,000 and/or 15 years old.
Chevy had to extend the warranty of "many" 2015 / 2017 trucks and cars because of problems with the A/C systems/components. For some reason I can not understand - I am told it doesn't apply to my Truck. This is a $1300.00 repair bill - as far as I'm concerned only defective parts could be the cause of a failure in 20,000 miles. Perhaps with a lot more complaints GM would have to do something for all of us.
