13257 - Service Update. Reprogram the body control module (BCM). When the key is turned to start the engine, a series of communication events occur. If there is an interruption in this communication, it could result in a no crank/start condition. The engine can be started with the remote start feature; however, the engine will shut down within 5 seconds if the communication error occurs. After waiting approximately 10 minutes, the engine can be started. This condition may or may not occur on subsequent starts, depending on whether or not there is a communication error.
