Buying this truck expecting it to be a good, safe vehicle for myself and my family is awful. Having to try and work/drive around the issue is/was completely unacceptable. My truck now stays sitting in my driveway not being used until I have/can have something done about have a "hard" brake pedal.

Truck has been having issue brakes randomly, super hard to push brakes and therefore stop the truck at low speeds (driving through bank drive thru, backing up, or parking for example). Had truck to 2 different shops in the past 18 months where they put on new brakes, pads, replaced vacuum booster, and replaced the master cylinder, but the issue was never resolved. NOW Chevy is admitting there is a problem with the brakes (vaccum pump?) but will only fix trucks with less than 72,000 miles. My immediate family has FOUR trucks with this issue but only 2 are under the $72k miles where Chevy will take responsibility, even though this issue has been happening for TWO YEARS. This should be a recall along with the other 6 (7?) other recalls this 2014 truck has had.

I honestly cannot believe this has not been recalled. GM saying it's a known issue and can cause complete brake failure if not fixed yet refusing to recall it. I encourage anyone who has had this issue to call and file a complaint at this number below because GM refuses to do anything and it is a serious issue. As much attention as we can call to the vehicles that have had the problem will help get a recall because it is VIN specific and they have to narrow down which ones are doing it. PLEASE CALL so we can get this recalled/refunded and hopefully prevent any future incidents.
