A lifelong fan of Chevy, I have always bought the newest body style of both the Silverado and the Corvette as they become available, generally being one of the first off the line. I have never had a problem with my cars/trucks. However, my new Silverado is a POS.
This is problem number 13 for me (not including recalls). Last weekend while putting my boat down a ramp, the backup cam decided to stop working. After I restarted my truck, it came back on. Now it is working intermittently. I couldn't recreate the problem for the dealer. And as it is not under warranty anymore, it wouldn't be prudent for them to go on a deep exploratory effort to find out why.
TERRIBLE TRUCK. I GOT A TOTAL LEMON. I will be trading in my Corvette and Silverado for a Dodge. And I HATE DODGE!!!
