Was towing a trailer to Alberta and when gauge read empty and light is flashing along with warning buzzer -- you have to calculate when you last filled and get a general distance on the map as to where you had to start looking for fuel. But towing a trailer made it tough to get even close. Terrain- wind- highway conditions made it so your #'s usually weren't close.. And the warning light in the gauge and buzzer were annoying to say the least... When I got back took to dealer and was told they checked gauge and was good to go... Yet that evening talked to tech, told him exactly what it was doing. At first they thought I was filling the truck while it was running (that does make Chevy gauge read wrong) said no-way..

Now into the second day and finally getting sending unit changed out. Can't fault guys in shop, they do what up front tells them. And when the guys up front have 2 phones going and people at desk, things don't always get written up as they should. When I had my 2011 they did everything they could to make that truck right. In the end I ended up with this 2013 so really can't gripe too much.. At least this 1 runs...

Car companies are always trying to find the cheapest way to pump out vehicles and, as one can see with the amount of re-calls, that mode isn't working out too good is it.
