About a year after I bought this truck, around 2017 I think, the bulb kept blowing out on my low beam headlight. I put a new bulb in a couple of times and the next thing I knew it was out again. One day while looking at it, I noticed the bulb wasn't bad, but the connector that the bulb plugged into was black on one side. I replaced the connector with a new one and about 2 weeks later, it did the same thing. I bought a whole new wiring harness and had it put on and that seemed to fix it for a while. It did it again one day and I started checking out the place where the bulb attachment goes through the frame and it didn't seem to be staying seated in the socket.
I put some vaseline around the connector and put it back in and that seemed to fix it for about 10 days or so. Now I noticed that the light is out again and I am at my wit's end to figure out why. This drives me crazy having this issue over and over again and not seeming to be able to fix it. This has happened a dozen times since I've had this vehicle. I don't understand it at all. Is there anything that can be done?
