Woke up to find the truck parked in the garage attached to the house smoldering and some fans running. Pushed truck outside to avoid any risk of fire destroying house as well. Towed to dealer for repairs where it has now sat waiting for someone from Chev investigations to look at. Dealership advises that they think it is the main wiring harness that caught fire and not covered by warranty.
Anyone else have similar issue? Believe that likely all wiring has been damaged by this? Why would the wiring harness on a two year old truck catch fire? Manufacturer defect? Problem caused by prior fix to stabilitrac?
