So I am about to go pick my wife up from the hospital where she has been sitting there for 4 days due to an infected dog bite. I get in truck buckle up. Stick the key in the egnition, turn key and it sounds like it just got zapped. The key just makes a clicking noise when turned. The power is on but now starting. So I call aaa and they show up start truck up and run a test on the battery, starter, and alternator and the service man says everything is good on the test. So he tells me to let it run for more than 25 minutes with radio off. So I drive to my stepsons school leave it running in parking lot . We drive all the way to wake med. so that's an hour we been driving. So we get ready to leave turn key , will not start. So I call aaa again from the parking garage and while I am waiting I try to start truck again . All of a sudden it starts on its on . I call aaa back and they cancel the call. I get home. So the next day I get in truck , and much to my surprise same thing again. So I call the Chevy (1-800-462-8782) after I look online and see a recall on the same 2011 sliverado and the lady looks up my vin number and tells me there is no recalls on my vehicle. I ask her who I have to report this to get it fix she said you just did and there are no recalls and you can take it to a dealership to get it fixed. I told her the reason I did not have a warranty was because they did not give me enough on the loan to get one. So I would like to thank heister Chevy in fuquay varina, Nc for selling me there problem and leaving it with me without doing a proper check of the truck.
