Driving to work one day I heard a grinding noise as I turned the steering while. Lucky I work for a Chevy dealership and brought it right into the service department. They evaluated the problem and found that the Drivers Side front hub had failed and the passenger side hub was on it's way out as well. Had to replace them both and no warranty left on the truck. No excuse for them failing this early at 50,000 miles. They tell me the new ones have a lifetime warranty. I sure hope so. Originals are substandard parts.. Where are they being assembled in China?
