I was driving down the highway and my truck shut off. I lost power to everything. I was able to pull over to the side of the road. I took my truck in to the GM dealer to have the vehicle looked at. They told me nothing was wrong with the truck.
Bought the truck as new, used by dealers daughter with about 20,000 miles. Within 8 months it dies while driving down highway. Engine would turn over but not fire. Called for a ride and when they arrived I tried it again and it started. This will happen every so many months or several times within this period. Dealership tells me they can't pinpoint any one cause and want to replace all the sensors which is expensive and then won't guarantee that is the problem. Most times disconnecting the battery will allow it to start back up but not always. Today it died two times on my way to work and the last time I parked it and caught a ride to work. At lunch I went back and it started. I have a 2yr old and a 11month old children and this has happened while they have been with me.
