The battery kept dying. After almost getting stranded far away form home (way out of the way) several times, I finally figured it out. One night I was chopping wood and just as it started getting dark my headlights turned on!!! The key was all the way in the off position, but it looks like the night sensor still kicks on the automatic lights and completely drains the battery!
Have yet to try forcing the lights into the off position when leaving the truck... perhaps that would fix it?
