Replaced with a Dorman 425-176 intermediate steering shaft, easy to DIY and cheap. Nice to get rid of the constant slow speed clunking.

I've noticed that at highway speeds the truck often seems to have (but not always), a drifting feeling along with a chattering/vibration during the performance of a turn.

I think chevy should recall these trucks and fix rattling in steering for free. The steering column knocks and bounces and I don't know what is wrong with it.

As an American Citizen and part owner of General Motors I want the steering colum fixed or replaced and guarenteed for life.
